Three KA's meet in Jackson

Norman Laird was passing through on his way back from Texas where he was visiting his grandchildren. On his way back home to Savannah we met at Scott Coleman's house in Jackson, GA.

GMC High School 1959 JC '61

Today I've had two old friends call. First, Felix Mooring of Soperton called. He had gotten my telephone number from the GMC letter regarding our 1959 High School/1961 Junior College class reunion. Felix is working the phone building up enthusiasm for our get-together in October. Larry Stafford called from Pensecola. He was one of our most colorful classmates and I know everyone will be happy to see him again.
I haven't seen either one of these boys for over fifty years and it was great talking to them. Looking forward to October.

KA mini reunion

I've just returned from Jackson, GA where Scott Coleman and I met at Scott's studio with Norman Laird. Norman was headed back home to Savannah from a trip to Texas where he had visited his grandchildren. After a morning of talk and coffee we met Scott's wife at Buddy's restaurant for lunch.
A good time was had by all and we took a few pictures that I will try to post later for all to see.

An old friend on the blog

I have just heard from my old friend and KA fraternity brother Jimmy Dewar. I had not seen or heard from him in many years. He and I roomed together in Atlanta when we were just starting work after UGA. I was first living alone in downtown Atlanta and Jimmy invited me to join him, Easy Ed Jared, and Link Forester in their apartment. I believe the first place we lived was on East Paces or Pharr Road.

Does anyone know where Ed Jared is? Haven't seen or heard from him in many years.

Jimmy Harrison and Willie Moore come by occasionaly. I keep up with the Thompson-Augusta crowd through Jimmy and the Savannah boys through Willie.
